Adult Yoga (parent/teacher) Classes:
The Director of Morning Star Yoga Natalie Lucero has been practicing yoga for 10 years. She first started learning yoga by practicing kundalini yoga and she continued her yoga experience by practicing vinyasa yoga along with mediational yoga. She is certified in Hatha yoga, but her adult classes do introduce different variations of yoga. Morning Star Yoga starts all the new classes at the beginner level. The month to month classes will progress each week the students learn new skills the class will become more challenging based on the observation of the adult students. This is to ensure that no participant becomes stressed or strained in anyway. The class is intended to sooth the adult student’s mind, body and soul for an hour.



Child Yoga Classes:
Child yoga is a playful form of physical education for young children. Yoga offers our students the opportunity to learn how to take care of their own bodies. Morning Star Yoga Kids provides more than just stretches; it provides an educational program. Our curriculum is a half hour balanced yoga practice that was specifically designed to incorporate all of the following skills:
1 - Verbal and Linguistic Skills
2- Logic and Math Skills
3- Visual and Spatial Skills
4- Body and Kinesthetic Skills
5- Musical and Rhythmic Skills
6- Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Skills
7- Nature and Science Skills

Mommy & Me Yoga Classes:
The Morning Star Yoga Combo class is a one hour exercise that allows the parents and child to experience a workout all together. It is a great chance for parents to interact with their children while teaching them about healthy living. Children in their young years want to do everything their parents do and when their parent’s model healthy choices such as, exercising for them they are more likely to continue the healthy practice when they get older. Furthermore, it is a fun way for parents to forget about their worries for 45 minutes and remember what it’s like to be as playful as a child. This class is perfect for those parents who just don’t have enough time in the day to give their children a full hour of time and squeeze a work out before bedtime. Our Combo classes work well in the evening for parents who are ready to destress and find a way to calm their child down before bedtime all at the same time.
